Prayers and wishes help us to look at the future with hope. They give us patience in these hard times that we are passing through right now. We believe envisioning a better world and asking for it is the first step to make it into a reality. Doesn't matter where you are and who you are, Virgin Mary is waiting to hear your prayers and wishes.

Virgin Mary remained in Jerusalem following the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Life of the early Christians was getting harder and harder everyday thanks to pressure coming from the local communities.
Saint Stephen was stoned to death and became the first Christian martyr in the year 36 AD. Martyrdom of Saint Stephen and the probability of a similar fate forced disciples and believers of Jesus out of Jerusalem.
Virgin Mary first came to Antioch to meet the other disciples and later she made her way to Ephesus. She was accompanied by Saint John the Evangelist. House of Virgin Mary that we know today became her residence.
House of Virgin Mary was found thanks to the visions of Anne Catherine Emmerich (1774–1824). Ms. Emmerick was bedridden. She was seeing visions about Virgin Mary. People started to take her serious, when they realized how realistically detailed visions were.
Clemens Brentano, a German author, heard about Anne Catherine Emmerich and decided to listen her. Later Mr. Brentano decided to write down all her visions and turned them into a book called ‘’The Dolorous Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ’’. Later another book called ‘’The Life of the Blessed Virgin Mary’’ based on Anna Katharina Emmerick visions was published.
Two priests living in Izmir decided to look for the House of Virgin Mary after reading the mentioned books. They looked around Ephesus for two days and just before they decided to give up they came across a spring which looked like the one described by Anne Catherine Emmerich. Later they discovered a house in ruins next to the very same spring. They understood this was the right spot after realizing indisputable similarities between the house they found and what was described by Anne Catherine Emmerich. *
